National Gardening Week 2015
Running from 13th-19th April, this week marks the fourth annual National Gardening Week.
Launched by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), National Gardening Week aims to celebrate all things green and to get more people out enjoying their gardens, local spaces and shared environments.
National Gardening Week encourages gardeners, schools, communities and organisations up and down the country to come together, share ideas and learn about their gardens.
As with previous years, thousands of people across the UK are out and about this week to share their passion for horticulture, and participating in events such as open gardens, garden parties, plant swaps and more.
If you want to participate in National Gardening Week but don’t have traditional garden to enjoy, don’t worry! There’s no reason why you can’t enjoy all the benefits of gardening without the need for vast amounts of land.
There are a number of ways you can utilise a small outdoor space. It may even be that your ‘garden’ is in a more unconventional area of your property such as a roof terrace or balcony.
AGD are inviting you to enjoy all the benefits of gardening this week, whether you have a plot or not.
Container plants, hanging baskets, and artificial grass are all great solutions when you don’t have a garden of your own. AGD’s range of artificial grass can be laid on virtually any surface, providing the perfect solution for a no-maintenance area of grass where growing natural turf isn’t practical.
Here on the Artificial Grass Direct blog, we share our love of all things ‘green’ all year round. Make sure you keep an eye out for future posts containing gardening tips, news and advice on how you can make the most of your outdoor space.
